As you all know, design for us begins from the sketches to full production. When it comes to our clothing, which has become such a success for us, we spend a lot of time perfecting our collections. This is where our extremely talented friend Agnes comes into the picture. Nur and I create our mood boards and ideas but without the expertise of a truly knowledgeable pattern maker- the garments would never fit the body well.
So every few months, at the beginning stages of the creation of the collections, Agnes flies in to Jaipur from Paris. She sits with the entire design team, the tailors, and surrounds herself with all the fabrics and mannequins and begins her sessions. From trial after trial altering darts, lengths, volume, and much more- we finally come to a final perfect sample. This sample then gets placed into its allocated collection and rotation and gets sampled in the final approved fabrications. With that, Agnes is off once again ready to return once new ideas are born.
