Boucherrouite Rug

Boucharouite is a technique used all over the world, the Moroccan version of the “rag rug” started in Morocco in the 1960s with the arrival of ready-to-wear and the use of synthetic fabrics. Previously regarded as too modest, it is now hugely popular, the perfect example of upcycling before it was ever a thing!

Hand weaved rug.  The best method of cleaning is the traditional way of beating the rug or wiping it with a damp cloth.  It can also be professionally cleaned.
