I recently went on the most magical two-hour walk of my life. It was in the beautiful town of Ardmore in Waterford County, Ireland. Thanks to the amazing Cliff House Hotel, we were introduced to our 79-year-old guide, Tom. Ardmore is a seaside fishing village in the south coast of Ireland. While we walked around the Ardmore Penninsula we learned about the history of the area. We visited Declan Place and the ruins of the Ardmore church, which both date back to the 12th Century. Nature and history are intertwined in this area, and nature compliments the ruins so well. Definitely, a walk to remember.
