I’ve seen Cecil Beaton’s images often. Every time I come across them it feels as I’ve just stumbled across them. Recently I’ve been thinking quite a lot about Beaton’s images, specifically the ones he took in the 1920’s and early 1930’s. The Metallic Alphabet Charms ecru produced in collaboration with Sophia 203 reminded of these images. He shot them in black and white, but they have this beautiful sheen to them. Beaton had this ability to make his images look magical.
